Training / Bomb & CBRN Awareness

Training courses and dates Conflict Management Security Awareness Crisis Management Advanced Driving Executive Travel & Gap Year Safety Personal Security First Aid

This course reviews the threats of bombs or IEDs’ (Improvised Explosive Devices) and Chemical, Biological, Radioactive or Nuclear agents and their potential for being deployed against clients premises.

Both courses are bespoke to the client’s locations, business and current threat assessment. They aim to provide a working knowledge of why devices are deployed, how they are deployed and what action can be taken to prevent and mitigate the threat, as well as responding in an organised and safe manner.

The CBRN training gives advice on how to prevent or to mitigate the effects of a chemical or biological attack against buildings. The advice is precautionary and follows recent cases of anthrax in the US.

It is stressed that there is no evidence to suggest that any terrorist group is currently planning a chemical or biological attack in the UK. The current government assessment of the threat to Great Britain from the use chemical or biological material is ‘LOW’, and this should be borne in mind when considering the remainder of this advice.

As a supplementary to training staff on what to look for and what to do in the event of a threat from bombs or CBRN agents, Greymans can run table top exercises to help staff to practice their training in realistic, fast moving and changing incidents.
