Any audit process
is an effective way of highlighting weaknesses
or systems failure. This applies to security
matters as with any other commercial operation
or process.
A security audit
is effectively a survey or assessment of
your security procedures, protocols, hardware,
training and physical protection. The security
audit must review all aspects of the business
to highlight that which is working and that
which is not. The audit must also provide
comments on the findings, draw conclusions
and produce recommendations as to what action
is necessary to improve or enhance the clients
security.
Where the clients business
is national or international, the audits
must be uniform on structure and look to
provide the same recommendations for each
business area found in need of improvement
or alteration. |
