In July 1999, the Private
Information Disclosure Act (PIDA) came into
force to protect employees who openly voice
their concerns. Since 1999 over £10
million a year has been awarded to employees
improperly dismissed or victimised following
their disclosure.
These employees
or “whistleblowers” come from
commerce, local government, central government
and the intelligence service.
Greymans provides a 24/7
call centre that receives information by
phone, fax or e-mail, enabling your company
to provide a confidential third party hotline
for employees who feel they have information
that should be disclosed.
The call centre staff are
responsive to the sensitive nature of whistleblowers
and provide the appropriate response to
satisfy the caller that their information
is being handled professionally, managed
seriously and treated confidentially. |
