The security risks facing
the aviation and maritime industries are
probably higher than at any previous time.
The capacity for loss when disaster strikes
either of the above industries frequently
is or can be enormous, both in human life
and assets.
The need to ensure
high level security within all aspects of
these industries is, without doubt, business
critical. Aviation security is a specialised
area incorporating, planes, crew, passengers,
cargo, catering, airports, ground crew and
a plethora of other issues.
Security must maintain a
high level, whilst appearing low profile
for the passengers’ peace of mind.
This combination requires careful planning
and sophisticated implementation to ensure
security without compromising the appeal
of air travel. |
The Maritime
organisations face similar problems. Ships,
crews, cargoes and ports in some of the
most politically unstable and dangerous
areas of the globe, all add to the problems
facing shipping companies.
Greymans provides security
services in line with the ISPS code drawn
up by the International Maritime Organisation
in December 2002.
Greymans aviation &
maritime specialists will complete surveys,
identify risks, highlight security weaknesses,
deliver training and produce recommendations
to enhance security and reduce prevailing
risks. |
